For Gay Men with Herpes

There are a lot of dating sites for people with herpes - if you're straight. Gay herpes dating? Where do you go? Hopefully, HSVGuys will serve as a meeting place for gay men, where they can talk about herpes, interact with each other, and - who knows - maybe even meet Mr. Adequate.

Genital herpes seems to have more of a stigma than HIV, gonorrhea, or any of the latest trendy STDs. With the number of herpes cases estimated to be 45 million* (20% of the population) in the United States - and the percentage among gay men even higher - it seems distinctly odd that there aren't more sites targeted at gay men with herpes.

I started HSVGuys.com because I got tired of feeling out of place as a gay man on herpes dating sites. I didn't like always having to change the default search category from "Man looking for Woman" to "Man looking for Man." It was frustrating to register for a site and perform a search for gay men, only to find that there was just one other gay man registered, and he lived with his pet polar bear Stan - somewhere near the Arctic Circle.

This site is just for gay men with herpes.
